Johnsons Place residents celebrate one year in their new homes
Celebrations took place at the Johnsons Place supported housing scheme in Pimlico to mark the first year since the residents moved into their homes. Johnson’s Place is an innovative scheme that provides homes to five people with different learning disabilities and different support providers, developed by Octavia Support working in close partnership with Westminster City Council. The celebration event was attended by Johnsons Place residents and their families, as well as guests who enjoyed a tour of the homes. Councillor Jonathan Glanz, Cabinet Member for Housing and Property, gave a speech to mark the occasion saying ‘As the needs of residents become more diverse and develop, support provided needs to mirror these changes. In Westminster, we strive for excellence. Developments such as Johnson’s Place help fulfil the vision to enable people to meet their individual need without exclusion.
