Annual Older People's Christmas party

This year Octavia held their Annual Older People’s Christmas party at the Holiday Inn in Kensington. Around 180 older people from across our care schemes, people we support though the Foundation and their carers attended the event.

Fun on the day included entertainment from a magician, a balloon modeler who made Christmas hats and accessories, plus music and dancing. Attendees were also treated to a raffle and carols from a local choir. 

Joe, a KDC member, said: “I really loved it. The Magician was very good.”  

Octavia resident Maureen, had said: “I really enjoyed myself. The Magician was especially great."  

There were also parties held across all of our schemes for our residents.

At The Reed, Open Age and the KDC partnered up to hold a party for their service users who were treated to a festive meal and nibbles, as well as a performance from a professional singer who got staff and residents dancing with classic Christmas songs.
