James Hill House Rated ‘Good’ By Care Quality Commission
James Hill House is our first scheme to be inspected by the Care Quality Commission under the new inspection regime. An inspector visited unannounced on 24th November 2014. The inspection was conducted to check whether we were meeting the legal requirements and regulations associated with the Health and Social Care Act 2008, to look at the overall quality of the service and to provide a rating for the service in accordance with the Care Act 2014.
We are pleased to announce that we were rated as GOOD overall and good in all five key line of enquiries:
- Safe – Good
- Effective - Good
- Caring - Good
- Responsive - Good
- Well led – Good
As part of the inspection, the inspector looked at records and spoke to residents, relatives of our residents, care staff and health care professionals. We also received the following feedback:
Staff were very respectful and provide ‘extraordinary care’ to our residents
The level of care is extraordinary
I would be happy for my own family to live there
