At Highlever Road, we offer high quality, specialist care for older people who have dementia, in a friendly and welcoming environment. We support each resident to live as independently as possible and to make choices about the care they receive.

With just five residents, Highlever Road offers the highest standard of care and support in a very homely and welcoming environment. Our friendly and experienced team encourages each individual to live as independently as possible and to be involved in decisions about their care.

108 Highlever Road is a large Victorian house with a great location in a residential area of North Kensington, within easy reach of local amenities including shops, cafes, pubs, a post office, places of worship and public transport links. The home and garden are fully wheelchair-accessible.

What Highlever Road can offer you

24 hour care and support

Our scheme manager and dementia support workers provide around-the-clock care every day of the year, giving you the support you need whenever you need it. Tasks that we can help you with include personal care, preparing and cooking meals, shopping, cleaning and laundry.

A homely environment

You will have your own bedroom with en-suite facilities, as well as shared use of our lounge, kitchen, dining and activity areas. You will also be able to spend time in our attractive garden. Visitors are welcome at any time and we have a guest flat for family members and friends who want to stay overnight.

Social activities

We offer a wide range of activities, including music and dance, arts and crafts, cake baking, manicures, reminiscence sessions and video evenings. We also like to get out and about in the local area, visiting cafes, shops and the nearby bowls club.

Safety and security

The main building entrance is secured with a key pad and each bedroom is fitted with a sensor alarm.

Looking after your health

We have close links with the local dementia service and health professionals including GPs and district nurses come to Highlever Road whenever they are needed. A chiropodist visits every three months and we can easily arrange for home visits from opticians and dentists too. We can support you to manage your medication and come with you to medical appointments if you would like us to.
